Can I create, approve and send quotes from TradeKwote?
You can create and edit quotes in TradeKwote, then send them by copying the customer link or downloading the PDF. There is no separate approval step: you check and edit the quote yourself, and your customer can accept it online. TradeKwote does not email quotes to customers for you.

How do I create a quote?
- 1
Add the job. Type or dictate rough job notes, add your line items and set your own prices.
- 2
Generate the quote. TradeKwote writes the scope of work and builds a professional PDF quote in about 60 seconds. The AI writes the wording, never the prices.
- 3
Check and edit. Read it through and use Edit Quote to change anything before it goes to your customer.
How do I send a quote to my customer?
There are two ways. Copy Link gives you a customer link to paste into your own email or messaging app, and it marks a draft quote as sent. Download PDF gives you the file to send yourself. In the iPhone and Android apps, downloading opens your phone's share options. TradeKwote does not email quotes to your customers for you, so you send the link or PDF yourself.
What can my customer do from the quote link?
They can read the quote and then accept it, decline it, or ask for changes, with no account needed. Accepting asks them to confirm first, and shows the deposit if you asked for one. Declining lets them give a reason if they want to. Requesting changes sends you a message of up to 1,000 characters, with an optional phone number or email. You get an email when they respond. The link shows a valid until date, and an expired quote cannot be accepted.
Is there an approval step?
No. A new quote is created as a draft. You review it and edit it as needed, and it is marked as sent when you copy the link or confirm you have sent the PDF. You can still edit it later if your customer asks for changes. The only approval is your customer accepting it.
What about follow ups?
On Pro and Team, TradeKwote can send automatic follow up emails in your name when a customer has not replied, as long as you saved their email on the quote. Plans and prices are on the pricing page, and you can see how it works for your trade.
