Can I create and send invoices from TradeKwote?

Which plans can create invoices?

Invoices are on Pro (£29 a month or £290 a year) and Team (£49 a month or £490 a year). The free plan covers quotes only. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

How do I create an invoice?

   Start from the quote. Open the quote and choose Create Invoice. The line items, totals and VAT carry over.

   Check it. Review the invoice and change dates or details if you need to, then save it.

   Send it. Download the PDF and send it to your customer yourself, by email or message.

You can also create an invoice from scratch. TradeKwote does not email invoices or give them a customer link, so sending is up to you.

What if the quote had a deposit?

TradeKwote creates two invoices for you: a deposit invoice and a final balance invoice. The quote to invoice FAQ explains the conversion in more detail.

How do I track payment?

Each invoice is a draft, sent, paid or overdue. You mark an invoice as sent or paid from your invoice list, and a sent invoice shows as overdue once its due date has passed.

How does VAT work on invoices?

TradeKwote handles UK VAT, including the domestic reverse charge, where the VAT is shown for reference and not added to the total. It does not calculate CIS deductions, so agree those with the contractor. On Pro and Team, a VAT summary on your dashboard shows what you have charged.
