Why did John build TradeKwote?

I worked as a carpenter for seven years. After a day on site, I would be writing quotes at 9pm at the kitchen table. It was boring, and it took time I would rather have spent on anything else.

So I built TradeKwote. It was built by a tradesman, not a tech company. I wanted something quick and easy to use that covers every part of a job: quoting, invoicing and VAT.

What does TradeKwote do?

You type or dictate rough job notes, and TradeKwote turns them into a professional PDF quote in about 60 seconds. You always set the prices. The AI writes the wording, never the prices.

When a customer accepts, you turn the quote into an invoice with one click. Quotes and invoices handle UK VAT, including the domestic reverse charge.

It is designed for use on site from a phone or tablet, as well as on a desktop. You can talk the job through with voice dictation instead of typing, and add photos to a quote, on every plan, including the free one.
